Actual French Properties For Sale
The real estate "system" in France is so different from the American multiple listings service that it was a real shock to have to deal with it. It is also quite different from the system of finding property in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and everywhere else I have ever heard of. We have heard so many complaints about the frustration of looking for a property in France, that my good friend, Shelly, and I decided to try to fix it. Our way of fixing it was to design and publish a website for French property that features a highly sortable detailed database of information on each property. It is a big project because French people in general, and immobiliers are no exception, are very resistant to changing the way they do things. The French immobiliers and public don't know another system, so they don't seem to realize how disfunctional their system is.
